Essay is a React frontend talking to a Django backend (Django Rest Framework). Backend engineer at Essay will implement new features, fix bugs, manage, migrate, and protect our MySQL database hosted by DigitalOcean. Along with supporting the overall performance, stability, and improvement of Essay’s software.
We estimate that the right candidate will have 5+ years of experience delivering software. But the right candidate with less experience could convince us otherwise.
